TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 9, 2024 — ASUS IoT, the global AIoT solution provider, today announced its participation in Embedded World 2024, where it will showcase its leading-edge intelligence and AI solutions. At this prestigious international event, ASUS IoT will showcase its comprehensive lineup of edge and AI solutions, integrated solutions and Next Unit of Computing (NUC) devices – and highlight its flourishing partner alliances.
Highlights of ASUS IoT's presence at Embedded World 2024 include:
Powerful edge AI GPU computer: PE8000G
ASUS IoT PE8000G is an edge AI GPU computer, powered by Intel Core (13th or 12th Gen) processors, to deliver high-throughput GPU computing at the edge. Boasting support for dual graphics cards with TDP up to 450W each, along with military-grade MIL-STD 810H standard compliance, PE8000G thrives in challenging environments. Ideal for applications such as machine vision and factory automation, PE8000G elevates edge-AI-inference to mission-critical levels.
Accompanying the flagship PE8000G, ASUS IoT also offers a comprehensive range of fanless rugged edge computers, such as PE5100D series, PE2200U and PE1000S, powered by latest Intel processors and aimed at factory automation, machine vision, surveillance and ATM/VTM applications. This series boasts resilient designs, wide temperature range, robust tolerance to both shock and vibration and diverse connectivity.
Compact and versatile Arm-based offerings: Tinker Board 3 and Tinker System 3N
ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3, engineered with a powerful Arm® quad-core Cortex-A55, is ideal for diverse retail applications, from digital signage to smart medical equipment. An evolution of the renowned Tinker Board R2.0 single-board computer, this latest iteration embraces and expands on established tools, including panel solutions, SDKs, OTA management and security mechanisms. Enhanced features include LPDDR4X memory, WiFi 5 and 6E compatibility, plus a wide-range voltage power solution and a range of fanless thermal adaptions.
Another new Tinker family member, Tinker System 3N, is designed for industrial use. It features a versatile interface, fanless design, low power consumption, wide temperature tolerance and wide voltage range, so it’s a powerful choice for outdoor and harsh environments in a compact size. It also includes software to simplify development processes for applications such as smart factories, human-machine interfaces and outdoor kiosks.
